This week we’re joined by director Nicholas Gyeney! He’s got a helluva movie coming out called Beta Test. Ask yourself a question: do you love 90’s action films and would love to see a throwback to that style? If you answered yes, then this is your flick! The film also has the longest, single cut action sequence in history! Nick tells us all about the filming process, what got him in to film making, and the things he loves the most. Oh, I forgot to mention, Beta Test also has Deathstroke versus Johnny Cage! Who doesn’t want to see that fight go down! Beta Test opens in theaters on July 22nd!

This week, your heroes are taking Behind the Pop in a new direction! We’ve officially started interviewing people! And to get us started, we’re talking to none other than director J. Jesses Smith! You make recognize him from his work with several artists and groups working in the industry, including: 50 Cent, Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def, DMX, Dope, and a multitude of headlining acts! He’s also worked on feature films such as Crime Partners, Before I Self Destruct, and the upcoming Equal Standard starring Method Man and Ice-T. He also has a novel out right now called Death Ryders, which is being planned in to a multi-media franchise! We loved talking with J. Jesses Smith, and if you have an interest in film making, then this is an interview to pay attention to!

Okay! I know! We said we wouldn’t be back until the 18th of June, but we saw two movies in theaters and wanted to give them a quick review of our awesome audience! So, in a commercial free, mini-episode, Bill and Bryant are talking X-Men: Apocalypse and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Please forgive Bryant’s voice, he’s been sick and is just getting over it! Can’t wait to bring you full BTP episodes on the 18th!
